The 13th Republican exhibition-fair "Small Business in Festival Vitebsk" will open today
The Republican exhibition-fair "Small Business in Festival Vitebsk", which has become a traditional event during the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival, will open its doors for the thirteenth time this year to residents and guests of the cultural capital of Belarus.
This is a great opportunity for the city's residents and guests to get acquainted with the products of manufacturing companies from all over the country, as well as from Russia. The exhibition-fair will be held from July 10 to July 17 at the following venues: near the Cultural and Historical Complex "Golden Ring of Vitebsk City "Dvina" (500 sq. m. pavilion), near the "Vitebsk" Concert Hall (two pavilions of 50 sq. m. each), Zamkovaya Square (32 sq. m. pavilion).
The organizers of the event are the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Department for Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus, the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, and the State Enterprise "Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center".
The official opening of the exhibition-fair will take place on July 10, 2013, at 12:00 PM at the venue near the Cultural and Historical Complex "Golden Ring of Vitebsk City "Dvina" with the participation of creative groups. For the purpose of advertising and promoting Belarusian brands – manufacturers, a fashion show of clothing and accessory collections from the exhibition-fair's exhibiting companies will be organized.
More than 40 enterprises from various sectors of consumer goods production will take part in the exhibition-fair. The enterprises will present a wide selection of Belarusian-made women's clothing, fur products, footwear, home textiles, crystal, and haberdashery. These include unique leather and fur products from Snezhinka CJSC, a large assortment of women's dresses and knitwear suits from Tekstil Market UP ChP, Minsk, and master classes on wool felting, and much more. The Suvorova Street venue will feature unique artistic works: icons made of precious and semi-precious stones from the Nizhny Novgorod region, unique scarves from the Volgograd region, and products from Tula – Tula accordions. At the venue near the Vitebsk Concert Hall, BelImportMeh SOOO will hold seasonal trade promotions for fur products.
On July 10 at 15:00, a business conference "State Support for Entrepreneurship. Achievements and Methods for Further Development of Entrepreneurship Support Infrastructure" will be held in the conference hall of Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center KUP. Representatives of the Entrepreneurship Department of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus, heads of entrepreneurship departments of Vitebsk and Minsk, and business support infrastructure entities will participate.
