The majority of the best projects proposed are in the field of scientific developments and IT technologies.

Perhaps this is a significant difference between the current regional exhibition "100 Ideas for Belarus" and previous ones. Although the innovative component in the projects has been increasingly evident year after year, this year was a true parade of technologies.

To be honest, some schoolchildren simply amazed with their ideas, knowledge, and the scale of their thinking. Some of the presented technologies were only understandable in general terms to the uninitiated, but with what enthusiasm the teenagers talked about them!

So, pay attention: the youth are proposing projects such as "Solar Collector," "Modification of Fabrics with Polyvinyl Alcohol," "Library for Comparing 3D Models for the CAD System Compass 3D," "Device for Active UV Air Filtration," "Mobile Robotics," "Handmade: Telescope-Refrigerator," "Acupuncture Diagnostics and Pharmacological Correction of Liver Failure in Animals." Impressive? For me, yes, definitely. As is the development "Modification of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Championship Based on the Computer Game NHL 09" by Roman Aniskovich from the Glubokoye district.

Another student from Glubokoye, Vadim Rudak, proposes to transfer all textbooks for one grade to a smartphone, for which he developed a special application. There is no need to carry piles of books in a backpack; a gadget is enough. And here's a student from the Vitebsk Polytechnic College, Mark Molokhovsky, who is concerned about educators, and therefore proposed the automated survey system "QuizMaster," which simplifies the process of assessing students' knowledge.

Such projects can generate real income.

young people and undeniable benefit to the country. That is why today one of the tasks is to form a new generation of researchers who are in demand in the real sector of the economy. Business is also showing increasing interest in the ideas of youth in the field of information technology. This is the future, no one doubts it anymore.

As for the "100 Ideas for Belarus" project, as noted by **Alesia Vinnik, Chairperson of the Central Control Commission of the BRSM**, its goal is to identify such youth and help them implement projects. It is no coincidence that the regional exhibition this time was hosted by RUP "Vitebskenergo", it was here that the youth project "Automation of the electricity meter accounting system" was one of the first to be implemented.

As noted by **Gennady Titenko, Director of the "Energosbyt" branch**, today everyone can see the results at home on their electricity meter; this experience was presented at the Ministry of Energy and disseminated in other regions.

– The BRSM never ceases to amaze, there are many interesting works, you can feel that the guys are prepared, they have put their soul into their projects, and are ready to promote them. The "100 Ideas for Belarus" project is effectively a platform where young people can express themselves and subsequently earn money, – shared his impressions from visiting the exhibition **Vladimir Penin, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee**. – We see the potential of the new generation, it is important for us. The Regional Executive Committee will support such ideas and work with them purposefully. They can be implemented in the economy. But there are also social projects. They are more difficult, they require investment, and the search for equally indifferent people. Overall, I can say that we have wonderful youth, they are not indifferent, and that is the most important thing.

Perhaps it is precisely this engagement that is at the core of the development of everything around us. Young people strive – if you will, due to their youthful maximalism – to improve the world.

For example, by implementing the wall painting project "Youth – to the City!", which proposes to transfer famous paintings by artists, children's drawings, and elements of Belarusian symbolism onto the buildings of Vitebsk. Or by engaging in preventive work with at-risk teenagers through training sessions. Or by organizing a studio for dubbing foreign cartoons into the Belarusian language "Children – the Future of the Language!" (by the way, this project from the Sharkovshchyna district received a special prize from "Vitebskiye Vesti").

One cannot but agree with the words of the famous politician Benjamin Disraeli, who was quoted by a member of the expert council, Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee Gennady Egorov: "All great things are done by the young." So, it is thought that we will hear the names of the authors of the presented projects more than once.
