The 160-apartment building at 60 Chkalov Street in the Medtsentr microdistrict will soon welcome new residents.
– Совместными усилиями форсируем сдачу этого дома. Сотрудники КУП «Капитальное строительство города Витебска» и Витебского горисполкома наводили порядок на этажах, то есть занимались уборкой мусора, готовя квартиры к чистовой отделке, – отметил заместитель начальника УКС горисполкома Сергей Матвеев. – Осталось поставить сантехническое оборудование, поклеить обои, покрасить потолки и постелить линолеум. Фасадные работы будут завершены при более благоприятных погодных условиях.
Рядом с 60-м возводится еще один дом – последний в новом микрорайоне. Останется достроить детский сад, где уже ведется кладка второго этажа. В перспективе в Медцентре появится и школа. Так, поле на окраине города превратилось в перспективный микрорайон. В наступающем году здесь проложат троллейбусные линии, что позволит жителям новостроек быть более мобильными. Дальше Витебск прирастет еще одним микрорайоном – Лучеса. В настоящий момент ведется разработка проектной документации по его созданию. Будет вестись строительство и в Билево. Кроме того, планируется возведение жилья по улицам Ленинградской, Чапаева, Комсомольской и Воинов-интернационалистов.
К слову, во время областного субботника работы по благоустройству и наведению порядка на земле прошли во всех уголках Придвинья. Сделать наш край более привлекательным и уютным – задача каждого его жителя.

Construction, with JSC "Zhilstroy" as the general contractor, is almost complete. And during the regional субботник (voluntary work day), the public contributed to the upcoming move-in of residents into the new building.
– We are accelerating the handover of this house through joint efforts. Employees of KUP "Capital Construction of the City of Vitebsk" and the Vitebsk City Executive Committee were tidying up the floors, i.e., cleaning up debris, preparing apartments for finishing work, – noted Sergey Matveev, Deputy Head of the Department of Capital Construction of the City Executive Committee. – It remains to install sanitary equipment, wallpaper, paint ceilings, and lay linoleum. Facade work will be completed under more favorable weather conditions.
Another house is being built next to the 60th one – the last in the new microdistrict. A kindergarten will remain to be completed, where the second floor is already being laid. In the future, a school will also appear in the Medcenter. Thus, a field on the outskirts of the city has turned into a promising microdistrict. Next year, trolleybus lines will be laid here, which will allow residents of new buildings to be more mobile. Further, Vitebsk will grow with another microdistrict – Luchesa. Currently, project documentation for its creation is being developed. Construction will also be carried out in Bilevo. In addition, housing construction is planned on Leningradskaya, Chapayeva, Komsomolskaya, and Voini-internatsionalistov streets.
By the way, during the regional субботник, landscaping and cleanup work took place in all corners of the Dvina region. Making our region more attractive and cozy is the task of each of its residents.
