Currently, the city's utility services are taking enhanced measures to clear roadways, sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, bus stops, and roofs from the effects of heavy snowfall. All necessary equipment is involved, including equipment from third-party organizations. However, it is only possible to cope with this promptly with the support of the public.

In view of this, a community cleanup day has been announced in Vitebsk for March 23. Let's all come out together to the city streets and clear the areas adjacent to enterprises, institutions, and residential buildings of snow. If necessary, the housing and communal services at your place of residence will provide the necessary cleaning tools. Only together can we promptly eliminate the consequences of the cyclone and put the city in order!

For sanitary cleaning, snow and ice removal from the city streets, mass involvement of organizations of all forms of ownership will be organized, and the involvement of vehicles from organizations for the removal of garbage, snow, and ice from the roadside areas of the city streets will be ensured.

The traffic police department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate and the city's utility services draw the public's attention to the need to limit vehicle parking along the roads, and ask vehicle owners to leave a contact phone number under the car window to allow for immediate clearing of the roadway without the involvement of tow trucks.

The Vitebsk City Executive Committee asks all residents of the regional center to take part in the "For a Clean City!" campaign to the best of their ability.

We believe that with joint efforts, we will make our ancient city younger and more beautiful!

Vladimir Shloma, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, Head of the City Headquarters for the Preparation and Conduct of the Community Cleanup Day
