The festive procession of participants will open the
regional festival-fair of agricultural workers "Dazhynki-2014" in Horadok on September 27.Agrarians of the Pridvinye region harvested 1 million 302 thousand tons of grain this year, including from farms and personal subsidiary plots. This is an excellent result. Vitebsk region was the first in the republic to fulfill the state order: 140 thousand tons of grain were delivered to the country's granaries.
The town of Horadok
has been transformed and prepared to welcome the best agricultural workers. In the district center, the central square, bus station, and railway station have been reconstructed. Significant work has been carried out in the housing and communal services sector, 29 streets and 21 courtyards have been improved, the road surface in the central part of the city has been reconstructed, engineering communications have been updated, power lines and street lighting have been replaced.
