The Belarusian-Latvian Business Forum will be held in Vitebsk on November 29.

With the aim of promoting economic cooperation and establishing business contacts between entrepreneurs of the Vitebsk region and Latvia, attracting investments, intensifying bilateral cooperation, as well as enhancing the investment and innovation attractiveness of the Vitebsk region, the Belarusian-Latvian Business Forum will be held on November 29, 2018, in Vitebsk, in the building of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee (Vitebsk, Gogol St., 6).

This event is timed to coincide with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Latvia.

Organizers of the event from the Latvian side: Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Vitebsk, Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in the Republic of Belarus, Investment and Development Agency, Society for the Promotion of Latvian-Belarusian Economic Relations, Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, cooperation with Latvian Planning Regions, Union of Local Authorities of Latvia, Daugavpils City Council, Rezekne City Council, Kraslava Regional Council, and Smiltene Regional Council, as well as JSC "Latvian Railways", Riga Free Port Authority.

The main topics of the Forum are issues of trade and economic, investment, and interregional cooperation between Belarus and Latvia.

The Forum is attended by a delegation of the Republic of Latvia, which includes representatives of the management of state administration bodies, the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in the Republic of Belarus, business organizations, and enterprises engaged in the light industry, woodworking, transport and logistics, finance, and trade sectors.

Within the framework of the forum, cooperation agreements are planned to be signed.

Belarusian-Latvian business forums are held to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation and contribute to the intensification of bilateral interaction between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Latvia.
