300 молодых людей Витебщины получили первые паспорта в рамках Всебелорусской акции «Мы – граждане Беларуси»

They are young, but they have already managed to prove themselves and achieve success in various fields of activity, whether it be academic subject olympiads, creative competitions, or sports events. They have many more goals and achievements ahead of them, but already in a different status – as citizens of the Republic of Belarus. Receiving a passport is always exciting: you realize that you are crossing a certain threshold of growing up, beyond which lies responsibility for your own destiny and the destiny of your country. It is doubly exciting and joyful if it happens in a solemn ceremony with the participation of representatives of authorities and elected officials. It was precisely these feelings that 15 young men and women from different regions of Vitebsk region experienced, to whom passports were presented on the stage of the regional philharmonic hall by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev during a solemn meeting dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus. Among them are young athlete, holder of the I adult category in sports gymnastics Valeria Belyashova, participant of the choreographic ensemble "Zorka" Ivan Kosmachev, head of the pioneer squad, volunteer and researcher Tatiana Kezha, winner of the regional stage of the republican informatics olympiad Artem Starantsov, prize-winner of district competitions "Kolyadnaya zorka", "Hello, World!" Alina Antipova, and others.

As Nikolai Sherstnev noted, youth is the most dynamic and energetic part of society. There are many talented young people in the Vitebsk region in various fields of activity, and in the Year of Youth, authorities expect new ideas and proposals from them.
