6 kilometers and 3 billion rubles. The agro-town of Zubrevichi was supplied with gas in the Vitebsk region
On November 2, on the eve of the anniversary of the October Revolution, it became a significant and historical day for the residents of the agro-town of Zubrevichi. Blue fuel arrived at the villagers' homes.
This large-scale project, costing over 3 billion rubles, was implemented within the framework of the State Program for Sustainable Rural Development. A high-pressure gas pipeline, almost six kilometers long, was built and commissioned in the shortest possible time.
On the occasion of such an important event for the Orsha region and Vitebsk region, the agro-town of Zubrevichi welcomed distinguished guests: Member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev, Member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, General Director of UP "Vitebskoblgaz" Petr Shershen, Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Nikolai Lisovsky. A solemn ceremony dedicated to the launch of natural gas and a festive concert, presented by the amateur art groups of UP "Vitebskoblgaz", took place.
— Due to geographical features, natural gas reached the Vitebsk region later than other regions of the country, — noted Nikolai Sherstnev, speaking to the residents of Zubrevichi. — The Orsha district lit the symbolic torch thirty years ago. In general, a lot has already been done in this direction. To date, 330 settlements in the Vitebsk region have been supplied with gas. But no one is going to stop at what has been achieved. After all, gas for the village means prospects and civilization, comfort in the home. Therefore, we are doing everything possible to ensure that the workers of the agricultural sector live with dignity.
— And a huge contribution to this is made by the General Director of Vitebskoblgaz, Petr Petrovich Shershen, a person who makes every effort to ensure that the work is carried out quickly and efficiently.
Now we expect results from the leadership of the Orsha District Executive Committee and the agro-town of Zubrevichi. The settlement, with the advent of natural gas, should develop progressively and acquire a modern appearance.
In turn, Petr Shershen expressed words of gratitude to everyone who helped implement this project in the shortest possible time. Sincere thanks for the assistance in carrying out construction work were addressed to the management and specialists of the unitary enterprise "Vitebskgazstroy".
The best employees on this day received honorary diplomas and letters of thanks from the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, the General Director of Vitebskoblgaz, and the Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee.
