60 families received apartments in a new building in Lepel

Last Thursday in Lepel, 60 families received apartments in a new building. This housing has been built beyond the plan for the current five-year period.

— Out of the 60 families of new residents, 15 are large families, and three of them raise four or more children, — emphasized Boris Efremov, Chairman of the Lepel District Executive Committee, congratulating the townspeople. — The forestry enterprise built two service apartments for its employees, and one is for social use. And although a lot is being built in Lepel, the issue remains acute. About one and a half thousand people are registered as needing to improve their housing conditions, with more than 1200 of them in the district center. And we are trying to do everything possible to solve this problem. The commissioning of an 80-apartment building on Kalinin Street is planned for December. In the near future, two 40-apartment buildings are to be erected. The master plan for the development of the village of Borovka has been approved. Individual construction has significantly intensified. Last year, for example, eight thousand square meters of such housing were commissioned, and this year it will be no less.

The head of the district expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone who invests their efforts, experience, and skills, to whom the new residents owe such a wonderful celebration: the capital construction department, PMK-75, DRSU-202, and specialists from the region's contracting organizations. And, of course, to the new residents themselves: thanks to their timely and conscientious fulfillment of their financing obligations, the builders coped with the task on time.

Evgeny Divin, Director of DKUSP "Lepelskaya PMK-75", emphasized that builders face considerable problems and difficulties in financing, but despite all the challenges, they strive to commission facilities on time.

— We know how to build, we have the strength and the masters, — noted Yevgeny Vladimirovich. – Great gratitude should be expressed to our subcontractors. The specialists from "Belsantechmontazh" never let us down — the organization, understanding the difficult economic situation, took out loans without waiting for advances, fulfilled its obligations, and prepared the scope of work for us on time. The masters from "Polotskselstroy", having completed their work on this house, continue the construction of an 80-apartment building. Today we are working there in two shifts, and often at night, to give another gift to the residents of Lepel by the New Year.

Yevgeny Divin solemnly presented the symbolic key to the new house to the chairman of the housing cooperative, Sergey Provada. He, in turn, thanked the district leadership and the builders.

Svetlana Novikova spoke on behalf of the new residents:

— It is pleasant to observe how our hometown is becoming more modern, beautiful, and convenient for people, thanks to the construction of new facilities, primarily residential buildings. This is the most important thing for a person, for his family.

The new residents were congratulated and a small but real celebration was organized for them by cultural workers. Wishing them the main thing: "May happiness and joy be with you in your new home!"
