On May 9, traffic will be restricted in Vitebsk
On May 9, 2023, during the events dedicated to Victory Day, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., traffic of all types of transport will be restricted on Lenin Street from Victory Square to Lenin Square. This information is posted on the website of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee.
Routes No. 11, 15, 15A, 41, when moving from Chernyakhovsky Avenue, will follow to Victory Square.
Deviations from the stated schedule are possible.
During the period of traffic restriction, passenger transport will operate on the following modified routes:
- Route No. 1 will run to Victory Square. The turnaround will be at the intersection of Bogdan Khmelnitsky Street and Zhestkova Street;
- Routes No. 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, when moving from the direction of Chernyakhovsky Avenue, will run to Victory Square. The turnaround will be on Chernyakhovsky Avenue near the "Victory Square" bus stop;
- Route No. 4, when moving from the direction of Frunze Avenue, will run to the "Railway Station" bus stop;
- Route No. 15, when moving from the direction of Gagarin Street, will run along Lyudnikova Avenue, Frunze Avenue, Tereshkova Street, and then along the route;
- Route No. 15, when moving from the direction of the Bilevo microdistrict, will run along Tereshkova Street, Frunze Avenue, Lyudnikova Avenue, and then along the route.
- Routes No. 3, 4, 8, 10, 14, 31, 34, 34A, 36, 43, 43A, 46, 63E will run along General Beloborodov Street, across Blokhina Bridge, along Budenny Street, and then along the route;
- Routes No. 6, 12, 18, 19, 25, 30, 42, 106, 106A will run along Moskovsky Avenue, Smolenskaya Street, Lyudnikova Avenue, to Smolensky Market, and then along the route;
- Routes No. 1, 26, 26A will run along Zamkovaya Street, Frunze Avenue, Lyudnikova Avenue, and then along the route;
- Route No. 5 will run along Frunze Avenue, Lyudnikova Avenue, to Smolensky Market, and then along the route;
