4.7 thousand residents of the Vitebsk region received targeted social assistance in January-March

April 19, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. State targeted social assistance (GASР) worth Br1.7 billion was received by 4.7 thousand residents of the Vitebsk region in January-March. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. In the structure of recipients, out of the total number of applications, 27% are single-parent families, 12% are full families raising one or two children, 13% are large families, 2% are those raising children with disabilities, and 33% are single citizens. In general, the number of recipients of targeted social assistance of all categories in the first quarter decreased slightly compared to the same period last year. Targeted social assistance for the payment of technical means of social rehabilitation was provided to 399 disabled people of the third group and children under 18 years of age, not recognized as disabled, in the amount of Br315 million in January-March. -0-
