Balloons from four countries took to the skies over Orsha

The international hot air balloon festival "Peaceful Sky of Orsha Region" has gathered aviation enthusiasts on the banks of the Dnieper River for the fourth time. The event, which runs from June 30 to July 2, is timed to coincide with the upcoming celebrations of Belarus Independence Day.

10 crews of balloonists from Belarus, Russia, Latvia, and Lithuania are taking part in the festival. They ascend into the sky over the city at 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM, when the air currents are most favorable. The Orsha District Executive Committee is the organizer of the festival.
