BRSM activists held the 'Gift a Newborn an Embroidered Shirt' campaign in Vitebsk
Activists of the youth union greeted happy parents and babies with Belarusian songs and poems, and also presented souvenirs with elements of Belarusian ornament.
The vyshyvanka is considered a symbol of health, beauty, happiness, ancestral memory, and love among Belarusians. The event is part of a large project of the youth union "Belarus - a source of inspiration" and will last until July 5.
