Activists of the BRSM of Vitebsk region are improving military burial sites for the 90th anniversary of the Komsomol

BRSM activists of the Vitebsk region are improving military graves, monuments and memorial complexes for the 90th anniversary of the Komsomol, the second secretary of the Vitebsk regional committee of BRSM Lyudmila Kapranova told a BELTA correspondent. The sites where young people are working have been identified in each district of the region. The completion of the improvement of places of military glory will be marked by solemn rallies and laying wreaths and flowers in honor of the Komsomol members who died during the Great Patriotic War. As part of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Komsomol of Belarus, the territorial committees of the BRSM of the Vitebsk region have planned other major events. Thus, in all regions of the oblast, together with local executive committees, it is planned to hold meetings and round tables with the invitation of veterans of the Komsomol movement. Thematic exhibitions will be organized in educational institutions, a youth subbotnik "90 years - LKSMb". Solemn inductions into the organization will be held everywhere. At the festive events, veterans of the Komsomol movement will be awarded certificates and memorable gifts. The regional solemn evening dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Komsomol of Belarus will be held on September 24 at the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic. On the same day, participants of the celebration will visit the museum of the Obol Komsomol underground, and will lay an alley on the territory of the Obol secondary school named after Hero of the Soviet Union Z.M. Portnova. On September 25, the delegation of the Vitebsk region will take part in republican events on the occasion of the holiday in Minsk. -0-
