Activists of the BRSM of the Vitebsk region will go out to the people today in unison

The mass start of the "Discover Yourself for Life!" campaign will be given exactly at 5:00 PM in all regions of the area, reported to BELTA correspondent Lyudmila Kapranova, acting first secretary of the Vitebsk regional committee of BRSM. Each district of the region will organize its own event. For example, in Glubokoye, activists of the organization will hold the "I Love..." campaign on the streets. Every passerby will be given the opportunity to complete this phrase. A similar event will take place in Sharkovshchina, where, in addition to declarations of love, random participants of the campaign will be able to write their most cherished wishes on balloons and launch them into the sky. In Novopolotsk, BRSM volunteers will "be on duty" in the city's large stores and distribute flyers to all young people buying alcohol and tobacco products, and in Polotsk, they will distribute booklets on Skorina Avenue with information about possible options for positive and useful leisure activities. This will help answer young people's question "What are we doing tonight?" Here, the "Your Choice" campaign dedicated to a healthy lifestyle will also take place. Similar events will be organized in other cities and district centers of the region. The youth campaign will be held under the slogan "I am among people. People are around me." It is designed to emphasize the individuality of each person, to prove that their opinion is important and should be heard. However, at the same time, a person must be able to listen, and most importantly, hear, the people around them. The organizers hope that the events held within the framework of the "Discover Yourself for Life!" campaign will give young people the opportunity to realize their thoughts and ideas, help foster an active life and civic position in young people, and combat smoking, alcohol and drug use. Lyudmila Kapranova noted that a kind of continuation of this campaign will be an online competition for the best anti-alcohol and anti-tobacco slogans, booklets, and stickers about a healthy lifestyle.
