BRSM activists of the Vitebsk region will meet with difficult teenagers in the first days of the new academic year

BRSM activists of the Vitebsk region will hold numerous meetings with difficult teenagers in the first days of the new academic year, the regional committee of BRSM informed a BELTA correspondent. Together with the children, BRSM members will compete in various competitions, contests, and participate in round tables. The holding of these events is planned as part of the next stage of the republican campaign "Together for Safety and Law and Order," which is being conducted by the Belarusian Republican Youth Union with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from August 30 to September 12. The campaign is aimed at preventing offenses in the youth environment, preventing neglect, alcoholism, drug addiction, as well as reducing the level of road traffic injuries among minors. During the campaign, activists of the territorial committees of BRSM will also visit schoolchildren from disadvantaged families, participate in patrolling recreation areas by youth law enforcement units, and thematic meetings with schoolchildren dedicated to road safety. In the Vitebsk region, the campaign will be launched on August 31 with a ceremonial rally near the Department of Internal Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, which will be attended by youth, the public, representatives of law enforcement agencies and BRSM. -0-
