Vitebsk Department Store shares are in demand
At the end of October, during securities trading on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, 25 thousand shares of Vitebsk Department Store OJSC were sold in a single transaction for almost 2.9 billion rubles. The purchase price of one security was 115 thousand rubles, which is almost 767 times its nominal value.
According to the financial activity report of Vitebsk Department Store for the 2nd quarter, the total number of its shares is almost 445 thousand units, with a nominal value of 150 rubles each. Thus, the transaction acquired more than 5.6% of the enterprise's shares.
A similar transaction in terms of volume and amount of acquired shares of Vitebsk Department Store was made at the end of August. As reported by the press service of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange OJSC, as a result of the August transaction, the new owner accumulated a package of shares representing 35.25% of the charter capital of this largest trading enterprise.
