The «Unified Safety Day» campaign is taking place in the Vitebsk region

Educational seminars and workshops, performances and concerts, quests and quizzes for children and youth. All these events are held in the region from September 1 to 10 as part of the republican campaign "Unified Safety Day".

The campaign is held twice a year: from September 1 to 10 and from February 20 to March 1. All institutions, enterprises, and organizations conduct educational and upbringing events aimed at preventing emergencies, offenses, and crimes, as well as training in behavior during emergencies, accidents, providing first aid, and comprehensive public information.

The focus is on developing a culture of life safety, especially among children and youth. It is no coincidence that the events of the Unified Safety Day started on September 1 in all district centers and cities of the region.

At the new Vitebsk Secondary School No. 47, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the regional gas company, the Belarusian Voluntary Fire Society, the State Automobile Inspectorate, and the Red Cross presented their interactive educational platforms. Open lessons, practical exercises, and evacuation drills will also be held at other educational institutions.

For the younger generation, cultural workers are organizing quests and quizzes on open grounds, presenting concert programs and theatrical performances, and the "Lyalka" theater will show the play "My Reliable Friend - 101" on September 5.

Work collectives are also not standing aside. For example, on September 2, large-scale tactical and special exercises were held in Lepel at a chemically hazardous facility, involving all district services.

Thus, all departments remind about life safety. The main goal of the campaign is to form a culture of safety in society, practice practical knowledge and skills, and educate the public.
