Up-to-date information on the organization of enterprise inspections will be presented at a seminar in Vitebsk

February 23, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. Practical issues of implementing control and supervisory activities, and organizing inspections of business entities will be considered on February 24 at a regional seminar in Vitebsk with the participation of representatives from more than 60 enterprises and organizations of the Vitebsk region. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers. In Belarus, the methods and forms of control have undergone fundamental changes since January 1, 2010, when Decree No. 510 "On Improving Control (Supervisory) Activities in the Republic of Belarus" came into force. The main objective of this document was to reduce and streamline inspections, create a flexible control system, and ultimately ensure comfortable conditions for economic activity. The need for the seminar is due to the frequent questions from business entities regarding the practical organization of control activities, the organizers of the event explained. The program has been developed taking into account the wishes of enterprise specialists, and will feature presentations by employees of the Vitebsk Regional State Control Committee, the Regional Prosecutor's Office, and the Economic Court. Participants will receive comprehensive information on improving control activities in the country in accordance with the requirements of Directive No. 4, on planning and organizing inspections, including the specifics of unscheduled thematic and operational inspections. A separate block will cover the powers of law enforcement agencies during inspections, appealing the actions of control bodies, and methods of judicial protection. The seminar is organized by the Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers and the Vitebsk Regional State Control Committee. The Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers (VOSN) is the largest non-profit association of employers in the Pridvinye region, with over 270 enterprises and organizations as its members. The association was founded in 1999, and its branches have been established in 6 districts of the region. Enterprises that are members of VOSN account for about 80% of the total industrial production volume in the region. -0-
