Alexander Brantsevich has been elected as a candidate member of the Presidium of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly from the Vitebsk region
Alexander Brantsevich, General Director of UP Vitebskoblgaz, Deputy of the Regional Council of Deputies, member of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of the Power, Gas and Fuel Industry, has been elected as a candidate for the Presidium of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly from the Vitebsk region. All participants of the expanded meeting of the presidium of the regional council of deputies, which also included representatives of regional branches of political parties and public associations, voted unanimously for him.
Yuri Derkach, Chairman of the regional trade union association, introduced the candidate Alexander Brantsevich in more detail to those present. He recalled that Alexander Vasilyevich is a native of our region. He was born on October 30, 1979, in Luzhesno, Vitebsk district. He received higher education in several specialties at VSU named after P. Masherov, PSU named after Euphrosyne of Polotsk, and the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus. He has been working in the gas industry since 2000. In this field, he has gone through all stages of his career path, from a fitter for the operation and repair of underground gas pipelines at the Vitebsk Gas Management Production Department branch to the General Director of Vitebskoblgaz. Yuri Derkach emphasized that Alexander Brantsevich is a professional in his field, who possesses extensive knowledge and, importantly, is a person deeply devoted to our state. He makes a significant contribution to social partnership, the development and unity of society, and the protection of Belarus's sovereignty.
Everyone who took the floor characterized Alexander Vasilyevich as a decent, responsible, competent person, capable of solving any assigned task.
— Today we must decide on a candidate who meets the high requirements, — said Irina Levkovich, Head of the Main Department of Trade and Services of the Regional Executive Committee, member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, member of the Presidium of the Regional Council of Deputies. — The career path that Alexander Vasilievich has taken testifies that he is a person deeply devoted to his cause, his industry, that he is a person of integrity. Everyone knows that the enterprise he heads is city-forming, with huge traditions. And we see that all the good that was created there continues to live and develop successfully.
Alexander Brantsevich spoke about the plans and mood with which he will go to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly.
— It is a great honor and responsibility to be elected to the Presidium of the BNPA. I am confident that I will justify the high trust placed in me, — he noted. — This is a platform for representatives of all the people, all sectors of the economy, and the life of our state. Therefore, we will work with dignity, for the benefit of our country. I set myself the goal of maximally representing the interests of my constituents, in order to bring to the discussion those pressing issues that are of interest specifically to the residents of the Vitebsk region and my Braslav district (Alexander Brantsevich represents the Braslav electoral district in the Regional Council of Deputies. — Ed. note.). I am a man from the village, from the people, I started as a mechanic, so I am familiar with the aspirations of every worker. The most important thing is not to forget about people and to jointly solve the real problems that concern them.
