Alexander Lukashenko: we need to reboot the education system, this is a matter of state importance
The President of Belarus stated this during the Republican Pedagogical Council.
Alexander Lukashenko recalled the events of last year:

– The lessons have been learned. The events that have occurred have predetermined the global nature of the issues we have brought to this pedagogical council. We have to reboot the education system. Today, this is a matter of state importance.
The Head of State cited an old saying: after bread, the most important thing for the people is school.

– Without diminishing the role of the family, we all understand well that it is precisely the school...The educator and the teacher are at the origins of the formation of the people as a single nation, the President noted. Science calls this national identity. In simple terms, it is patriotism. This concept has many meanings: love for the Motherland, respect for the achievements of the past, adherence to traditions, reverence for older generations, pride in the successes of contemporaries, and the desire to contribute to the country's history.
