President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko demands to strengthen technological and personnel discipline during the harvesting campaign in the country. The Head of State gave the corresponding instruction on August 3 during a working trip to the Miory district of the Vitebsk region.

"Technological discipline - without it, there's no point going out to the field. If there are no technologies, why plow and sow at a loss? And most importantly, it is personnel, labor discipline, iron discipline. Attract whomever you want, but people must fulfill their duties, otherwise the Vitebsk region will be floundering in its own juice for many decades," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.

While visiting OJSC "Turkovo" in the Miory district, the President inquired about the pace of grain harvesting in the region and the country, and the crop prospects. "If we harvest everything we have, and we will harvest it, we will provide the country with grain without problems," the Head of State is confident.

Alexander Lukashenko was informed about the fulfillment of the state order for grain sales, the provision of feed for the livestock industry, and the use of advanced technologies in their procurement.

The President paid special attention to providing farms with the necessary equipment, in particular, the supply of Belarusian balers to enterprises was discussed. "We need to train machine operators to work on these balers over the winter. And we need to help purchase them," the Head of State set the task. "This is salvation for the country, not just for the Vitebsk region."

"Let's proceed from what we have. It's time for the Vitebsk region to get back on its feet by leveraging what is concentrated here," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.

The Head of State noted that it is necessary to sow crops that yield the highest harvest under the existing conditions. "Here, each district must decide, based on climatic conditions and people's habits, what to sow," the President added.

He paid special attention to the development of the livestock industry in the region and the provision of farms with the necessary equipment. Alexander Lukashenko cited the "Rodina" collective farm in the Belynichi district (Mogilev region) as an example, where simple but maximally favorable

conditions for livestock activities.

During his visit to the Miory Central District Hospital, the Head of State met with Belarusian businessman Aleksei Kovalenok, thanks to whom the construction of a unique industrial facility with German investment and German technologies – the Miory Rolling Mill – began in the city.

The entrepreneur proposed to the President to build another facility in Miory in a similar way, but this time in the social sphere – a high-tech cardiology center according to German standards. It will be created to provide emergency and planned specialized care to the population of the surrounding areas and to export medical services to foreign citizens.

It is expected that the medical center will operate on the principles of public-private partnership. Its construction is of particular relevance in connection with the launch of a new plant in Miory in the coming years, which will attract additional labor resources to the city. "Nothing is needed from the budget for construction, everything will be built by a foreign partner, management will be foreign. There are no such facilities either in our country, or in Russia, or in Kazakhstan," noted Aleksei Kovalenok.

Alexander Lukashenko replied that he had studied this project. "If we treat people who cannot pay, we will pay for them," said the President. At the same time, he emphasized that the prices should be reasonable. "If we see that this is offered to us in order to make a lot of money (I don't think this is the case), we will refuse the services, because we have enough places to treat people," he said.

The designer and equipment supplier, if the decision to build the medical center is made, should be the German company KBV GmbH & Co. KG with over 40 years of experience in healthcare. It is planned that the investment will amount to almost 77 million euros.
