Alexander Lukashenko demands a clear definition of the specialization of agricultural production in each district of the Vitebsk region

It is necessary to clearly define the specialization of agricultural production in each district of the Vitebsk region, demanded President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during his visit to the agricultural production cooperative "Mayak Braslavsky" in the Braslav district.

"The main purpose of my trip is not the harvest," the head of state noted. He emphasized that there is enough equipment in the farms, and the harvesting campaign is proceeding as usual. "I am concerned about other things, I am interested in technologies," Alexander Lukashenko stressed. - We should have restructured the technologies here, in the northwest of the country, for new crop rotations." At the same time, he noted that, of course, it is difficult to work in this region in the same way as, for example, in the Brest region.

According to him, the specific features of the districts should be clearly taken into account, and crop rotation should be formed in such a way as to obtain the maximum effective result from agricultural production. "If the production of milk and meat is profitable, then this is what should be focused on and crop rotation should be adapted to it," he said. At the same time, the head of state warned against a thoughtless approach. Everything must be carefully weighed and calculated before making decisions. "We need to move to normal crop rotations and buy appropriate equipment for this," Alexander Lukashenko noted. He also emphasized that the technologies used, of course, must be good, taking into account the natural features of each district. "I don't want to give recommendations, because each district has its own specifics and, most importantly, its own specialization. Hence - crop rotation, equipment," he said.

The President's clear requirement is that everything must be worked out and taken into account for a high result in the agricultural sector.
