Alexander Subbotin: 'I put a checkmark on the ballot for the person I am ready to go to war for'
Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin took part in the presidential elections of the Republic of Belarus with his wife and daughter at polling station No. 16, located at the I. Solertinsky State Music College in Vitebsk.
– We are voting for the country to develop confidently, for us to have peace and quiet, and for our children to continue what we are doing, – noted the head of the regional authorities, communicating with journalists. – Coming to the polling station with the family has become a family tradition. My elder child is participating in the presidential elections for the first time, although they have already participated in elections on the unified voting day. This is an event that we will celebrate with the family in the evening.
The continuity of generations, Alexander Subbotin believes, should be present in any normal family. In the ballot, as the governor admitted, he put a checkmark for the person for whom he is ready to fight.
