Alexander Subbotin on Orsha Agricultural College: specialists of the most important professions are trained here

The Orsha State Agrarian College trains specialists in the most important professions today. This opinion was shared with journalists by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, after the graduation ceremony of the educational institution's graduates.

"It is a good tradition to award diplomas and send another batch of young people into life. This stage is a little sad for teachers and parents, as childhood ends for the guys, but it is quite joyful for them, because they look to the future with confidence, joy, and great optimism. The guys have chosen professions that are in demand at the moment. I hope they will receive confirmation that they made the right choice. Because here (at the agrarian college. - Ed. BELTA) the professions are indeed the most important: from cook and economist to machine operator, livestock breeder, and so on," noted the head of the northern region.

Alexander Subbotin also recalled his graduation from the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine. "This year marks my 25th graduation anniversary," he shared. "I think everyone remembers how they entered first grade, finished school, what happened at the graduation party, how the last bell rang, how they entered a university or college, and how they finished them. This memory lasts a lifetime."

At the Orsha Agricultural College, the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee also familiarized himself with the educational and material base of the institution and visited the competence center, which has been developing here for the second year. It trains in modern tractor maintenance. Moreover, not only students of this college are trained here, but also students from other secondary vocational schools from Tolochin, Dubrovno, Gorodok districts, and beyond. The competence center organizes training and retraining for the adult population.
