Among the first, they saw the transformed Vitebsk Concert Hall and learned about the "features" that will surprise guests of the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia. There will even be an interactive conductor.
The working group, led by Governor Alexander Subbotin, monitored the readiness of the Vitebsk Hotel for the Forum.
The head of the region also familiarized himself with the progress of repair work on Victory Square.
- Every week, and sometimes more often, we monitor the readiness of Vitebsk's facilities for the Forum of Regions. We are moving towards the completion of all types of work by leaps and bounds. Cleaning from construction sand and dust has already begun at almost all facilities, - noted Alexander Subbotin. - All facilities are being built ahead of schedule. Somewhere a year of construction was planned, somewhere a year and a half, two. And we are trying to shorten these deadlines before the Forum of Regions. Some facilities in three to four months, like the Amphitheatre, KSK. This shows that we can and know how to do it when necessary. When it's necessary, the people of Vitebsk can do anything!
