Alexander Subbotin: together we are transforming the Constitution to meet new challenges
According to him, discussions on amendments and additions to the Constitution are actively underway in the region's work collectives with the participation of lawyers and officials of various ranks. "Tomorrow, with my participation, we plan a discussion at the Vitebsk Medical University. Next week, there will be several rounds of discussions with the region's active members and collectives. Times are changing, and we must change with them. The Constitution, although it is the supreme law of the country, is not dogmatic. Under the challenges of our time, we are formatting and transforming it together so that it meets new challenges," said Alexander Subbotin.
Public reception offices are operating in all districts of the Vitebsk region, where citizens can discuss the proposed draft of the new Constitution. In Vitebsk, the regional public reception office will be open from 15:00 to 18:00 at the office of the public association "Belaya Rus". The region will also host thematic meetings with work collectives of enterprises and institutions, youth, media employees, and business representatives.
