There is an opinion that it is better to perform at the end - such performances are better remembered by jury members. At the same time, many believe that performing at the very end, after listening to all the contestants, is more exciting. Alyona Lanskaya is confident that the second number will be lucky for her - she has already performed second on stage and won before. "Judging by the results, it should bring me luck," said the performer.

She is set for a serious creative competition, because, as Alyona admitted, all her rivals are talented, singing, charismatic young people, which she became convinced of yesterday at the concert after the draw. Among the strongest competitors, Alyona noted the Russian singer Mari Carne.

Before the first competition day of "Vitebsk-2011", the Belarusian artist is worried: she feels the burden of responsibility because she had to perform at the anniversary, twentieth "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk". However, the performer is determined to demonstrate the results of many hours of rehearsals to the jury members.

Alyona Lanskaya's vocal coach Valery Daineko is pleased that his protégé got number 2 in the draw. "It is better to perform first or last at the competition. Performing second, Alyona will have less to worry about," believes the famous artist and part-time teacher. In his opinion, Alyona has every chance of winning, she just needs to cope with her excitement and not forget everything her vocal and choreography teachers told her.

On the first competition day, pop songs by the country's composer in the language of the country represented by the contestant will be performed on the Summer Amphitheater stage accompanied by a minus-one backing track. Alyona Lanskaya will try to win the hearts of the jury members with the song "Nebo Znaet" (music by Leonid Shirin, lyrics by Olga Ryzhikova), already loved by Belarusian listeners.

Alena Lanskaya is one of the most decorated singers on the Belarusian stage. She is the winner of the international competition of young performers of popular music Atlantic Breeze-2010 (USA), holder of first prizes of the European Music Competition "Sarandev-2008" (Bulgaria), the international competition "Cup of Europe - 2009" (Russia), the international festival of arts "Spivohrai-2010" (Ukraine).
