Alexander Subbotin discussed preparations for the referendum with the staff of the "Belorusneft-Vitebskoblnаftoprodukt" oil depot
– The residents of the district actively joined the discussion of the draft Basic Law of our country, – reported the Deputy Chairman of the Dokshitsy District Executive Committee, Oksana Polochinina, in her speech. – Seven expert groups were formed from among the district leadership, deputies, members of the district executive committee and the presidium of the district council, and representatives of public organizations. 150 dialogue platforms were held, in which more than 2500 people took part. It should be noted separately that the discussion was organized as openly and democratically as possible. Among the proposals on the topic of constitutional reform are the redistribution of powers with the strengthening of the functions of the parliament, government, and local authorities, the consolidation of the need to preserve traditional values and ideological foundations, and social guarantees for the population.
Alexander Subbotin held the meeting in a dialogue format, and it turned out to be lively and very productive. The oil depot workers were interested in what innovations in the Constitution, in the opinion of the head of the region, are more important and capable of influencing the socio-economic development of the country.
– The Constitution is the Basic Law, but it must transform and adapt to new external conditions, – emphasized the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee. – For me, it is important and relevant that the document enshrines precisely those things that, in principle, are known to everyone. This is marriage as a union of a man and a woman. This is the feat of our ancestors, which we must not only remember but also be proud of, so that wars do not happen again. Unfortunately, less has been said about this in educational institutions and on television screens. Therefore, it is so important that 2022 is declared the Year of Historical Memory in our country. In my opinion, this is done for future generations, for the unification of the spiritual mood of society.
Questions were also raised concerning the prospects for tourism development in Dokshitsy region, and the social sphere, particularly the repair of the street and road network. The Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Oleg Kovalyonok, announced that the asphalting of Polyavaya Street and the market square will be continued in Kruleyshchyna. In addition, a project for the repair of the local school is already ready.
During the dialogue platform, the Director of RUP "Belorusneft-Vitebskoblnfteprodukt" Alexander Kapshul dwelled on the production indicators of the enterprise, which last year sold 356 thousand tons of petroleum products, which is 120 percent of the 2020 level.
After meeting with the work collective, Alexander Subbotin carefully familiarized himself with the production base of the enterprise, including the automated technological process control system.
