The Alley of the 100th Anniversary of the Armed Forces appeared in Vitebsk

Near Secondary School No. 40, representatives of the regional military commissariat and the 103rd Separate Guards Airborne Brigade planted trees. Thanks to the efforts of the military personnel, 100 maple trees have been planted between houses 25-6 and 27-3 on Chkalov Street.
— 2018 has been declared the Year of the Small Motherland by the President of Belarus, and the Year of Military Glory by the Minister of Defense, — said Military Commissar of the Vitebsk Region Ruslan Shkodin. — Therefore, we decided to contribute to the improvement of our hometown and immortalize the memory of veterans and the 100th anniversary of the Belarusian army. I hope that this alley will become a worthy decoration for Vitebsk and a favorite place for recreation for the residents of the microdistrict.
Soon, commemorative signs will appear at the entrance to the green zone.
