An alley of creative benches has adorned the city park of culture and recreation in Novopolotsk

To attract creative Novopolotsk residents to improve and transform the appearance of the city park of culture and recreation through architectural and artistic design, the local authorities decided to hold a creative competition called "The Best Bench," as reported by the local city executive committee. Enterprises and organizations of Novopolotsk became its participants.

Over 20 constructive solutions were presented for the competition. These are benches ranging from two to five meters in length, in various colors and unusual shapes, made from different building materials. Today, the results will be summed up in the city park, and the best work will be announced. When determining the winner, the jury will evaluate the originality of the idea (design, color scheme, use of non-standard building materials), comfort for recreation, strength and durability, resistance to various weather conditions, and safety in operation. The competition is organized by the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee and the Novopolotsk Council of Directors.
