October 29, Minsk / Vladimir Matveev - BELTA /. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that he would never allow himself to falsify elections. He made such a statement while communicating with the residents of Brest during a walk through the central part of the city, according to a BELTA correspondent. "I have never falsified elections. I know that you elected me with a huge number of votes," the head of state said. Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that as the first President of Belarus, he "must ensure that subsequent presidents cannot do things incorrectly." "I must do everything correctly," the head of state said. "I will never allow myself to falsify elections," the President stressed again. According to him, "we have not done a lot, but we have done more than others." The head of state emphasized that he always tries to fulfill everything he promised. "If the economy works better, you will be richer, and there will be pensions and salaries," Alexander Lukashenko said. Regarding the elections, Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that in this matter, as always, the choice remains with the people.
