July 14, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated French President Nicolas Sarkozy on the national holiday - Bastille Day. BelTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader. Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that mutual steps towards each other and the expansion of Belarusian-French cooperation in various areas will further contribute to strengthening friendly ties between the two countries, peace and stability on the European continent. The head of the Belarusian state expressed hope for further positive dynamics in bilateral contacts between Belarus and France.
