Anatoly Linevich: often minor problems help to see something more serious

Assistant to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich held a personal reception of citizens in Glubokoye.

Natalia Murashko-Tolkach came regarding the restoration of hot water supply in the house. In an old apartment building on Molodezhnaya Street, hot water was once supplied by the lyceum's boiler room, but now all apartments have boilers. Most residents are pensioners, and comfort costs them a pretty penny. The residents came up with the idea of installing a boiler in the basement, one for everyone, to save on utility bills. According to the law, such problems are solved at the expense of the residents. The estimated amount in this situation is 1000 rubles from each apartment. Some consider it unaffordable.

The chairman of the district executive committee, Alexander Shubsky, explained that the house is on the waiting list for major repairs. But this will only happen in five years (there are 80 houses in the city older than 50 years), and violating the queue is unfair. Therefore, it has been decided for now to study the proposal in detail:

— A special commission will interview all residents. People must understand that walls, ceilings, and floors will have to be broken up to the third floor. Perhaps some will not be satisfied with this. And it may cost more than having your own water heater.

Alexander Kukharevsky and his neighbor cannot find a compromise in a land dispute. Anatoly Linevich listened to both sides of the conflict. Only a court can put an end to the dispute after the completion of the administrative process.

Anatoly Konstantinovich summed up the communication after the reception:

— Personal receptions in the regions provide an opportunity to learn about the life of the district and how promptly local authorities respond to citizens' appeals. After all, often seemingly minor problems, which have existed and will continue to exist, help to see something more serious.
