Anatoly Linevich: "Local authorities are focused on creating decent living conditions for the population of the Rossony district"
A problem of a different nature concerns a resident of the agro-town of Dvorishche, who also wants to buy a house but disagrees with its valuation. According to the pensioner, the amount is greatly overestimated, and the valuation was made even without inspecting the building. The President's Assistant instructed to recalculate the cost of the house once more and provide a comprehensive answer.
However, a resident of the same agro-township, who runs a peasant farm, wishes to acquire a vacant small farm building for his cows. He has identified one, but the issue is related to ecology. The building is located within a sanitary protection zone. The head of the district, Vladimir Bykov, who was present at the reception, explained that three cow sheds will be put up for auction in the near future, and the farmer will have the opportunity to choose the most suitable one.
Two appeals were related to non-payment for milk delivered to the Polotsk Dairy Plant. And a resident of the Lepel district specifically came to Rossony to meet with the President's aide and complain about the company "AoraRadial Trade," which owes its employees money. The private enterprise is currently undergoing liquidation, and people are afraid that they will not be paid. Anatoly Linevich has taken this issue under control.
A pensioner from the village of Yankovichi appealed to the President's aide on behalf of all residents of the settlement with a request not to close their post office.
– It also serves residents of neighboring villages who pay utility bills and receive pensions at the post office. If the branch is closed, people will have to travel to Rossony to withdraw cash from their bank cards. There is nowhere closer to do this. And how can one live in a village without cash? – asks the man.
Elena Klimova, the head of the Polotsk regional postal communication hub, to which the Yankovichi post office belongs, expressed her point of view. Elena Mikhailovna spoke about network optimization and staffing problems. But this, as Anatoly Linevich noted, is not an argument for worsening people's living conditions. Moreover, this topic was not discussed with the local authorities, and they are on the side of the villagers and do not agree with the closure of the post office. This issue must be resolved in favor of the people.
– It is evident that the local authorities are aimed at creating decent living conditions for the population. Residents of any region, including Rossony District, are concerned not only with personal matters but also with the development prospects of their district. And this is primarily related to the development of industries and job creation. This work needs to be intensified. There are many directions here – including the expansion of the service sector, primarily tourism. The clean Rossony region with its rich forest resources should attract investors, – Anatoly Linevich summarized.
