Anatoly Linevich: People need to speak out on pressing issues and voice their proposals

Representatives of authorities at various levels will soon meet with students, employees of educational institutions, social services, enterprises and other organizations of the Vitebsk region. This was announced today to journalists, in response to a question from a BELTA correspondent, by the President's Aide - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich following a meeting with the staff of the Vitebsk Tractor Spare Parts Plant.

According to him, one of the tasks of such dialogues is to learn the opinions and moods of people regarding political events in the country in preparation for the upcoming All-Belarusian People's Assembly. "Local authorities will meet with people to reach the maximum number of residents and give everyone the opportunity to speak out on pressing issues and voice their proposals. We, in turn, will consolidate what has been expressed and submit it for consideration," said the President's Aide.

At the meeting, employees of the Vitebsk Tractor Spare Parts Plant spoke about the importance of maximally informing people about the upcoming reform of the Constitution and the options that will be considered. People also raised issues of a local level – the quality of public transport stops, and the shortage of kindergartens in new microdistricts of Vitebsk. The low level of training of young specialists for their field also concerned the workers. "I think people are satisfied with the results of the meeting – everyone had the opportunity to speak out, they identified pressing issues. Some of them are everyday issues that will be resolved at the city authorities' level," added Anatoly Linevich.
