Anatoly Linevich held a reception of citizens in the Postavy district

– This indicates a positive outcome of organizing systematic meetings between representatives of various levels of government and the public, and their accessibility for communication. But life goes on, and people will continue to face problems. Therefore, the work with citizens' appeals is not being curtailed, but rather is being continuously improved, – noted Anatoly Linevich. – Today, one woman came to the meeting, meaning she could not resolve her issue on her own. Together with the district leadership and the utility service, we agreed that the major renovation of the house in Novoselki, which the applicant was concerned about, will be completed in full, as stipulated by the regulations. I believe this is the kind of outcome the residents of this house were hoping for from the meeting.
The President's Assistant devoted his free time to a more detailed acquaintance with the life of work collectives and the population of the Postavy region. In particular, he clarified the cause of unpleasant odors from the treatment facilities, which residents of the district center complained about in a private conversation. The head of the local housing and communal services, Fyodor Tanana, and the head of the district inspection of natural resources and environmental protection, Alexander Gotovchik, referred to the sanitary service and the dairy plant, the discharges of which are the cause of unpleasant odors. This happens, albeit rarely, but it's still unpleasant. The director of the dairy plant, Konstantin Gaylevsky, later explained the situation: the treatment facilities were built in 2010 and were designed for a certain production volume. Today, it is significantly larger. A cheese production workshop has appeared. The enterprise processes at least 270 tons of milk per day. And in hot weather, the amount of wastewater increases due to the use of a larger volume of water for washing machines and dishes – up to 600 tons per day. The treatment facilities require reconstruction. The cost of the investment project is up to 10 million rubles. The plant is ready to incur these expenses. In August, the project for new treatment facilities will be ready. In the meantime, the enterprise's employees have repaired equipment this year and removed accumulated sediment from one of the treatment facility system tanks. And even in the heat of these days, they are coping with their task.
Anatoly Linevich got acquainted with the work of a leading enterprise, known not only in the district but also in the region, ready to further increase production volumes, delved into the problems that hinder this process, and listened to practically all service managers to have a complete picture of the situation at the dairy plant.

The President's Assistant inquired with the head of the district whether sanctions had affected the performance of local enterprises.
– We are coping, – assured the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Sergey Chepik. – Of all the enterprises that shipped their products for export, woodworking enterprises felt it more significantly. But ChUP "Postavy Furniture Workshop" has reoriented to the supply of parquet to Russia, and has focused on the Russian consumer, significantly increasing its furniture production. "Belita" also coped with the situation: they concluded an agreement for the supply of raw materials with Chinese suppliers and worked out the logistics of transportation. The private enterprise "Promis Plant" is working stably. It receives metal for the production of spare parts from Russia and has sales of finished products. Postavy has registered on the website of the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs and on the platform for involving small and medium-sized businesses in cooperation chains with large enterprises. Now information about local productions and their products is available not only in their own country but also in Russia.
The President's Aide was also interested in the progress of fodder harvesting. Anatoly Linevich familiarized himself with the organization of this process at OJSC "Novoselki-Luchai" directly at the farm, and met with a detachment of machine operators who were working in the Krutki tract.
The visit to the district concluded with a meeting with the staff of the regional children's rehabilitation and health center "Vetraz".
