Anatoly Linevich: "The most important civic duty today is to participate in the referendum"
Anatoly Linevich, Aide to the President – Chief Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, discussed patriotism, innovations introduced into the draft Constitution, and many other current issues with students of the Vitebsk State Medical University and the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine.
Maxim Budnitsky, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the medical university, demonstrated his knowledge of the history of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and the changes discussed at previous referendums. Victoria Nechay, Secretary of the BRSM Committee of the veterinary academy, shared her experience of participating in dialogue platforms, thanks to which students are fully informed about the changes and additions to the Basic Law of the country and realize their importance for society.

What bonuses does the youth of Belarus have today? Should the youth age be extended to 35 years? Is it too early to run for deputy at 21? These questions were actively discussed by the participants of the dialogue platform. Youth speakers expressed gratitude for the fact that the commission that worked on drafting the Constitution provided for changes concerning the state's promotion of the spiritual, moral, intellectual and physical development of youth and the creation of conditions for the realization of their potential.

– It is important to remember that the Constitution has rights, and it is everyone's business how to use them, – Anatoly Linevich said, addressing the youth. – But it also outlines duties, and your most important civic duty today is to participate in the referendum. The main document of the state is a deeply thought-out, verified law. It was created by a commission that included specialists from various fields of activity.
