Anatoly Lukashov has once again headed the Dubrovno District Executive Committee
Introducing him at the district council session, Vladimir Davydovsky, Head of the Main Department of Organizational and Personnel Work of the Regional Executive Committee, noted that according to the law, upon the expiration of his term, a deputy of the highest legislative body is reinstated to his previous position. The experience and skills of Oleg Lyndin, who previously headed the region and proved himself to be a responsible leader, will be in demand in another role in the near future.
Anatoly Lukashev was born in 1960 in the Bryansk region of Russia. He began his career in his homeland in 1982 after graduating from the Vitebsk Veterinary Institute. In 1990, he moved to the Dubrovno region, where he held various positions and headed the region from 2005 to 2016. Incidentally, for several years Anatoly Lukashev worked closely with Oleg Lyndin, who served for five years as the First Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee – Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food. The fruitfulness of their joint work is evidenced by the following fact: in 2015, the region achieved a record harvest – 102 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops were threshed with a yield of 43.2 centners per hectare.
In his speech to the district council deputies and the region's active members, Anatoly Lukashev outlined the priorities for future activities: personnel and decent wages. First and foremost, special attention will be paid to agriculture as the locomotive of the region's economy. Increased weight gain in livestock and milk yield will certainly affect people's well-being. Dubrovno region is a leader in the country for flax production, but while the volume indicators are met, the product quality still leaves much to be desired. Further development of the social sphere, housing and communal services, and small and medium-sized businesses will continue.
Presenting Anatoly Lukashov with his service ID, First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Oleg Matskevich named two figures that the new-old leader should focus on. In 2015-2019, the economically active population of the Dubrovno region decreased by 500 people, and the region's subsidization is currently 40%. Accordingly, it is necessary to increase the number of people employed in the economy and the budget's profitability. It is necessary to expand the export base and not focus solely on Russia. The Dubrovno district, being a border area, has investment attractiveness. Oleg Matskevich wished Anatoly Lukashov successful work in a well-known team, and presented Oleg Lyndin with an Honorary Diploma of the Regional Executive Committee.
The District Council and the region's active members warmly bid farewell to Oleg Lyndin. The local native, who worked here in various positions for 32 years, was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Dubrovno District." In his response, Oleg Lyndin said that this event would forever remain in his memory as the most exciting and important. He expressed gratitude to everyone he had worked with. Not everything conceived was realized, so the new chairman of the District Executive Committee, together with a team of like-minded people, will have to complete what has been started and develop promising directions. The regional festival-fair of rural workers "Dazhynki," held in Dubrovno in 2017, was of great help in solving many issues. Much was done in terms of landscaping, improving the material base of social facilities, housing and communal services, and road management, for which special thanks are due to the regional leadership. Today, Dubrovno is one of the most beautiful district centers of the Vitebsk region. Oleg Lyndin wished his small homeland further development and prosperity.
