Andrei Kobyakov: The measures being taken to financially rehabilitate agricultural enterprises are yielding positive results
Andrei Kobyakov visited several enterprises in Glubokoye, where he was briefed on the progress of implementing decrees on the financial recovery of processing and agricultural organizations. The Prime Minister noted that such trips to the regions, meetings with local authorities and enterprise managers are primarily related to assessing the results of the implementation of decrees aimed at improving the financial and economic condition of agricultural enterprises. The Vitebsk region was among the first to be covered by such decrees, agroholdings have been created here, and the first results can already be summarized. "Using the example of the meat processing plant and the dairy canning factory, we are assessing how the application of the decrees has affected the economic condition of the enterprises, their ability to ensure timely settlements with enterprises in the raw material zone, and what are the prospects for their participation in the development of these raw material zones," he said.
"The initial stage has shown that the implementation of these documents yields positive results," Andrei Kobyakov emphasized. "If previously the focus was on simply ensuring the current operations of enterprises, today the conversation is different. Points of profit concentration are being formed, and we are discussing how to use this profit to influence the raw material zones, affect the development of agricultural enterprises that are in a difficult situation. These agricultural producers have a real prospect of embarking on the path of recovery on a good economic basis, without any financing unrelated to performance results."
"Macroeconomic stabilization is being ensured in our country, inflationary processes are subsiding, interest rates on loans, although slower than we would like, are decreasing. In these conditions, we are finding ways to influence the improvement of the financial condition of enterprises. And all this together will lead to healthy economic growth without
"any fluctuations for the worse," - summed up Andrei Kobyakov. The Prime Minister visited OJSC "Glubokoe Meat Processing Plant", where the results of applying the norms of Decree No. 320 "On the Development of Agricultural Production in the Vitebsk Region" at the enterprise were considered.
