Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Kosinets instructed today at a meeting of the regional executive committee to put in order agricultural facilities of the region by December 1, reports BELTA correspondent.
"By December 1, we must bring full order to the land," emphasized the chairman of the regional executive committee, instructing the heads of local authorities to take all necessary measures for this. "Concentrate resources, involve assigned patrons," he said.
When implementing measures to bring order to the land, special attention should be paid to the demolition of emergency structures. Alexander Kosinets recalled that in the autumn of 2014, the republican festival-fair of rural workers "Dazhynki" will be held in the Gorodok district, for which the entire territory of the Vitebsk region must be brought into perfect condition. Meanwhile, in the Gorodok district alone, according to his data, there are about 365 emergency facilities. The condition of individual livestock complexes and the compliance of farms with environmental legislation requirements are causing concern. The sources of these problems are primarily related to shortcomings in management and the lack of proper control at the local level, the head of the region added. In this regard, he demanded to strengthen production discipline.
