The "Lyavonikha" Dance Ensemble is 60 years old

Sixty years – step by step, rank by rank, success by success, country by country, and festival by festival. Like a fragile spring that gains persistence and eventually becomes a mighty river, today the "LYAVONIKHA" dance ensemble of the State Institution "Center of Culture "VITEBSK" is a visiting card of the Vitebsk region and of Belarus as a whole in the global mosaic of national cultures. It is hard to even imagine the complex and long path behind this ensemble, but you hardly think about it when you see bright, artistically high-level performances. The Honored Amateur Ensemble of the Republic of Belarus "LYAVONIKHA" dance ensemble invites all lovers of folk art, culture, and choreography on April 24 to a festive event dedicated to its 60th anniversary. The evening, which will take place in the "VITEBSK" concert hall, promises to be warm, and a number of surprises await the guests of the event. According to Vladislav DRAKE, the head of the ensemble, the program of the event will consist of two parts. Dances of the peoples of the world will form the basis of the first part, and in the second part, pop stars will join "LYAVONIKHA," including Ruslan ALEKHNO, Ivan VABISHCHEVICH, Pyotr YALFIMOV, Ilona BAGELĖ (Latvia), Viktor MASKOVICH (Moldova), Evgeny GOR (Russia), as well as the orchestra of the Vitebsk garrison. The participation of such famous personalities is not a coincidence, but a natural result of active cooperation in various creative projects, including the International Festival of Arts "SLAVIANSKI BAZAAR IN VITEBSK." Another surprise will be the presentation of new numbers and a performance by the ensemble's veterans. The anniversary concert is a combination of all the best that the "LYAVONIKHA" dance ensemble has developed during its existence. It changes, tries new arrangements, experiments with styles, but at the same time does not yield to time and preserves its individuality, for which "LYAVONIKHA" is known and loved.
