A pharmacy and a shop have opened in the village of Vitebsk near Vitebsk. Villagers had asked the head of the region for this.
The solemn opening of the retail facility was attended by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, the Chairman of the Vitebsk District Executive Committee Sergey Egorov, the Head of the Main Department of Trade and Services of the Regional Executive Committee Irina Levkovich, the General Director of CJSC "Dobronom" Oleg Belinsky, the General Director of UP "Farmatsiya" Ekaterina Boriseevich, other officials, and numerous residents of the village – parents with children, and the elderly.
Everyone was eagerly awaiting the commissioning of the facility. For a long time, the former store of the Vitebsk Universal Base was empty in this place. Residents of the village appealed to the district administration and the "direct line" of the head of the region with a request to open a retail facility that people so desperately needed.
And now this long-awaited event has happened. It is gratifying that it happened on February 23 – Defender of the Fatherland Day and on the eve of the unified voting day. Everyone was in high spirits.
Addressing the attendees, Alexander Subbotin emphasized that it was not easy to resolve this issue, as not every chain would go where unprofitable operation is possible. And they could not leave the village without a store within walking distance, where more than 400 people live. A solution was found with the help of the CJSC "Dobronom" chain, which carried out the reconstruction of the building, where, in addition to the store, the "Farmatsiya" pharmacy will also operate. This is a landmark event for the village.
– There is no doubt that the retail facility with a pharmacy inside, located near the highway, will be in demand by local residents and tourists in the summer period for purchasing groceries and essential medicines, – emphasized the head of the region. – This example shows that only through joint efforts can such issues be resolved, and order be established in the entrusted territory and in the country.
The "Kopeeчка" branded convenience store in the village of Vitba is also a юбилейный, the 155th in the Vitebsk region, emphasized Oleg Belinsky. This has allowed for the creation of seven additional jobs. The premises are bright, spacious, with accessible display cases and shelves stocked with over two thousand types of everyday goods.
The store was instantly filled with customers interested in the abundance of various goods. Among the visitors were Valentina Rogulina and Leonid Borovik, who took the opportunity to personally thank Alexander Subbotin for such a wonderful gift. Now, residents of the settlement will be able to purchase groceries and medicines at the local pharmacy instead of traveling to the city, which is very important for the elderly.
Boris Mosin, a father of many children, holding his son Platon, emphasized that for their family, the store is a lifesaver: baby food, diapers, medicines – these are all very important purchases for the family, which they will now make at the newly opened store.
The importance of the facility and the timeliness of its commissioning were also pointed out by Olga Pavlova, the manager of affairs of the Babinichsky rural executive committee. She stressed that this is a truly significant event for the local residents.
