A postgraduate student from Vitebsk on participation in the All-Belarusian People's Assembly: I would like to present my developments to help young entrepreneurs
Vladislav Mironchik, a postgraduate student at Vitebsk State Technological University, expects to hear and remember the main messages voiced by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the first meeting of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly. The young delegate of the VNS shared the areas where he would like to be useful when discussing important strategic issues of the state's development.
Even as a student, Vladislav Mironchik led an active lifestyle and participated in various creative events. In 2020, he took second place in the republican competition "Student of the Year." After graduating from university, the young man enrolled in a master's program, and then in postgraduate studies, deciding to dedicate himself to science and research in economics. He will attend the first meeting of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly with excitement and a desire to absorb new knowledge.
"Of course, the topic of youth policy is close to me, as I cooperate with students, combine postgraduate studies with work in the student club, but I would like to delve into other areas as well. These include, for example, the work of the industrial sector, social policy, and legislation – I realize how much I have to study and understand, at least for myself. I don't yet have a clear idea of what I could ask at the first meeting of the VNS. I would like to hear the main messages on the development of the Belarusian economy, national security, and international cooperation that the President will announce. For me, this will be more of a starting point for the activities that will be entrusted to me as an elected delegate," noted the postgraduate student of VSTU.
He mentioned that he is writing a research paper on youth entrepreneurship. This area is particularly interesting to him, as he has an example of a successful businessman – his father, and Vladislav himself has tried his hand in this field, workingmaking chocolate roses. He plans to create a training manual for students and university graduates who would like to start their own business. In such a collection, he would introduce young people to the legislative framework, explain where to turn for help, how to seek funding for starting a business, what difficulties may arise at the initial stage, and how to overcome them.
"Interacting with young people, I found that there are both students and university graduates who would like to start their own business, but they either know little about entrepreneurship or are afraid to take a step towards their dream. I would like to create a kind of guide for such young people, which would direct them and help develop a small business into a large and successful one. Also, according to my observations, among ordinary people there is an opinion that an entrepreneur works only for himself. However, this is not the case. He provides for his family, pays taxes, creates new jobs, strives to develop so that his income grows, and therefore his contribution to the economy of both his region and the country. The share of revenues from the entrepreneurial sphere in the GDP of Belarus is about 25%. In China, this figure is several times higher - 70%, we have someone to look up to, as we see how our strategic partner has grown economically in recent years. I believe that young people can and should contribute to the welfare of their native state, while doing what they excel at and wish to grow further in. If the issue of youth entrepreneurship development is discussed in high circles, I could provide my developments so that experts can study them," Vladislav explained.
And another Vitebsk resident shared his dream. At the "Student of the Year" competition, the youth construction project in Khatyn, and the student ball in Minsk, he had the opportunity to see and hear the President, to be convinced of his charisma and simplicity in communicating with people, but Vladislav would very much like to shake hands with the Belarusian leader.
The postgraduate student of VSTU hopes that as a delegate of the VNS, he can be useful in discussing strategic issues of the state's development as a person with creative thinking and the ability to analyze economic processes.
