Vitebsk Philharmonic will present atmospheric concerts during the "Slavianski Bazaar" days
On the opening day of the festival, July 15, an evening of national art will take place. The "Talaka" ensemble of dance, music, and song will perform in the philharmonic hall. The Vitebsk ensemble will present the audience with a wonderful mood with a Belarusian flavor. Spectators can expect lively folk dances, live singing, and magnificent instrumental accompaniment.
On July 17, the philharmonic invites you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of romantic Italy with the Santa Lucia chamber music concert. "The music is infused with the aromas of Sicily's orange groves, the coziness of small streets, and the history of centuries-old Italian culture. Soloists of the philharmonic will perform arias from operas by Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Ruggero Leoncavallo, and popular Italian songs," the organizers said. The music will be performed by Oksana Novikova, Elena Pavlenkova (soprano), Sergey Belousov (baritone), and Tatiana Movlya (dulcimer). The accompanist is Tatiana Shakhray.
Another interesting project will be an organ music concert on July 18. On this day, the audience will embark on a "space journey" through the universe of music. During the excursion, atmospheric compositions such as "Hymn to the Sun" by Louis Vierne, "Under the Starry Sky," and "Fairy Tale Flight" by Hans-Andre Stamm will be performed. The playlist will be complemented by soundtracks from famous films such as "Star Wars" and "Interstellar." The guides on this journey will be Veronika Bogdanovich-Yazvinskaya (organ), Alexandra Poletaeva (flute), and Elena Pavlenkova (soprano).
The XXX International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will be held from July 15 to 18. Additional events are planned for July 14 and 19. The forum expects representatives from 33 countries and about 5,000 artists.
