A. Tozik intends to ruthlessly combat indifferent officials and doctors
February 17, Senno / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Tozik intends to ruthlessly combat indifferent officials and doctors. He stated this to journalists today after a reception of citizens held in the Senno district, BELTA correspondent reports.
"Officials must remember: they are servants, not served. You must be responsible for what you do. An official who is not concerned about his work must leave," the Deputy Prime Minister believes. He intends to combat such bureaucrats using administrative methods.
Another problem raised during the reception of citizens was the callousness of medical workers. Despite the fact that doctors are provided with favorable working conditions - their salaries were repeatedly raised in 2010 alone, and polyclinics and hospitals are equipped with modern equipment - citizens' complaints about the callousness of doctors do not cease, and they come from different parts of the country, Anatoly Tozik stated. "Is it really difficult to ensure that there is no doubt that the doctor has done everything possible for the patient? Is it really difficult to just talk to a person, to explain things to them?" the Deputy Prime Minister wondered with bitterness.
Anatoly Tozik is convinced that no matter what position a person holds, they must first and foremost remain human. -0-
