Buses from Polotsk to Vilnius will start operating at the end of February

Polotsk Auto Park No. 2, a branch of Vitebskoblavtotrans OJSC, is launching a new international regular route to the capital of Lithuania.

The introduction of the new service, as explained by the director of the auto park, Vladimir Chernevich, is a response to the wishes of the region's residents. For our compatriots, the capital of Lithuania is one of the most popular tourist destinations. People go there to explore the sights of the old town, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, for cultural and entertainment events, for shopping, and to the airport, which serves international routes to major European destinations.

Previously, there was no direct bus connection to Vilnius. Now, you can get there without transfers, with stops in Glubokoye and Naroch. The first flight is scheduled for the end of February. The bus will depart from Polotsk at 6:25 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and will arrive back at 11:10 PM. If desired, passengers can return home the same day, having spent time in the capital of Lithuania from 12:50 PM to 5:50 PM. The ticket price from Polotsk to Vilnius is 24 rubles.

International transportation will be entrusted to experienced, highly qualified drivers. Comfortable buses that were used to service delegations at the 2019 European Games in Minsk will be used on the route. If the trips are in demand, their frequency may be increased.
