"BAYAN-BATLFEST" and exhibition of sacred textiles. How will the festival of traditional culture "Braslavskie Zarnitsy" be held?
The International Festival of Traditional Culture "Braslav Zarnitsy" – one of the most popular events in the Braslav region – will be held this year on June 4 and 5. As before, the festival will bring together dancers, singers, and musicians from different parts of Belarus and neighboring countries to celebrate two anniversary dates together this time – the 55th anniversary of the festival itself and the 10th anniversary of the "Braslav Choral Assembly".
The festival program includes open competitions for children's and youth and adult choirs, folk dance, the instrumental music concert "BAYAN-BATLFEST", interactive platforms of enterprises and organizations of the city, and a concert by the ensemble "Pesniary". An exhibition of sacred textiles from the Museum of Ancient Belarusian Culture of the National Academy of Sciences will be displayed at the Museum of Traditional Culture.
The medieval culture festival "The Sword of Brachyslav" promises to be interesting with its ritual of obtaining "live" fire, battles, dances, and games from historical reconstruction clubs.
