Bikers from six countries will take part in a medieval performance in Orsha
August 3, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Bikers from six countries will take part in a medieval performance on August 8 in Orsha, informed the correspondent of BELTA Priest Valery Orsik of the Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Orsha.
More than 50 bikers from Poland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Lithuania and Belarus, as well as the Orsha historical reconstruction club "Monselvant" and the city's youth, will take part in the event. Festival guests will not only watch the bike show but also sing along with the participants and taste Belarusian cuisine. The main surprise of the evening will be a theatrical performance that combines the past and the present. As in the distant Middle Ages, brave warriors will compete in strength and combat skills in a knightly tournament, only instead of horses (with a correction for the 21st century), their means of transport will be motorcycles.
The meeting of bikers will take place within the framework of the annual motorcycle rally "Eastern Raid," which will begin on August 6 in Poland. In Belarus, its route runs through Brest, Baran, and Orsha. Then the participants will go to Katyn near Smolensk (Russia) to pay tribute to the deceased Polish officers buried there, as well as those who died in the crash of the Polish government plane. -0-
