Three days before the start of the "Vitebsk-2009" International Pop Song Performers Contest, it became known that the jury would be headed by Laima Vaikule, and not by the previously announced "golden voice of Russia" Nikolai Baskov. The Latvian star is listed as the jury chairman on the official festival website, reports a BELTA correspondent. Nikolai Baskov's name is no longer on concert posters. Meanwhile, on the artist's official website in the "Performance Schedule" section, his stay in Vitebsk is scheduled from July 10 to 12.
